Ok, if any of you have seen any of my recent posts you will see that I am unhappy with the confidence feature. Well I just won promotion with AFC Telford. When I took over they wanted me to achieve survival Blue Square Premier in five years. Got promoted in my second season and ended up finishing 12th by the time their five year plan was done. They were happy.

They then told me of their three year plan to achieve a respectable position in the Blue Square Premier. That same season I get promoted through the play-offs (thanks to my genius super defensive 5-3-2 formation). Anyway, the monthly confidence report comes in, they are satisfied, thats right SATISFIED. I'm ok, they should be damn well happy but I can let it go. I then take a closer look at the confidence section. They are dissapointed that I didn't manage to achieve a respectable position last year! WHY?

My initial thoughts was that this was a bug but now I'm not convinced. Is this because I didn't get higher than 12th the previous year? And if it is, shouldn't it have updated to say they are ecstatic with promotion? Or will this only happen when the season ends? Either way.. it needs looking at.

I think this is a known issue and was looked at in the amended patch.

Thanks. Wonder if anyone else can confirm? (Not that I don't trust you Fraz ) I wasn't sure wether to report it as a bug or if it was just my bad luck.

Using latest patch by the way.

Yeah, aparantly the latest build of the patch (out last Friday) has solved the issue (though I havent played with the new patch so I cant confirm it personally).

If only I downloaded and installed the newest build of the patch. Let's hope it's fixed for the final patch.

The confidence issue is definitely fixed in the latest patch.

My long-term ambition confidence was set to 0% despite getting back to back promotions to end up in L1 (board wanted to be a major player in the BSP).

Downloaded the patch and the bar is back up to where it should be.

There are still people reporting problems with the confidence section, even post the 2nd beta patch I'm afraid.

This is the major issue I have found. Because of this, I will start a new game when SI release official patch :o

BTW, 5-3-2 deffensive is so useful? Can you explain to us, please? Thanks!
