Default Is it worth me getting FM08?

hi guys havn't been on here in months.
i've bought FM06, and 07 over the last couple of years. i love the game but they were always too slow with me. however im still tempted in buying this year's edition. only problem is on last year's i would be waiting around 10 mins for the early rounds of the cups (e.g. FA and Carling cups) and 12mins on the first round of the uefa cup. i was sad enough to time how long it takes on each cup lol. i was only runing english league 2 and above as well.

here are my pc's specs: (don't laugh)

736MB of RAM
Celeron (R) CPU 2.40GHz
Direct x 9.0c
S3 Graphics ProSavage DDR- memory size 32MB

so basically, if i buy FM08 will it be slower, the same, or faster(as if) than last year's game?

please be honest with me though guys.

thanks!

I think it's the fastest FM so far, so you should be able to run only the English league fine.

I would not buy FM 2008, wait for 2009 or 2010

Save the money and get a new comp

It 'should' run fine. But I think the fact it's a Celeron will definitley slow things down.

Have you tried the demo? You'll probably get a rough idea of how it will run.

In FM07 did you set the detail to minimum?

I only have my own division simulate full matches.

Every other division/cup I have on "None"

And my computer is not much better than yours.
