Is this a bug? Has to be I'd think, as the amount of yellow cards handed out to central midfielders I find is absolutely insane... no matter how hard you set their tackling, and no matter what player you pick (as some players are more dirty than others) I ALWAYS pick up a yellow card or two for the central midfielders. It just seems stupid and I something I can't seem to avoid. I *might* very rarely get through a game without a central midfielder getting a card but it's rare.

Anyone else suffering from this? Or is it just me

yeah, it's a known bug when players (mostly MCs) hold the ball too much.

Ah I see, thanks for the clarification. I checked the "FM08 Known Issues" thread in the bugs forum but nothing was listed. Guess I'll just have to wait for the patch.

i thought it was just me...my cm's get suspended about 5 times through the season.

I have to say I have noticed this too. I thought it was due to their creative freedom, they were holding onto the ball, losing it, then giving away a yellow for a pointless shirt pull or trip.
