Yeah, I noticed that. Sure it would motivate some, just like a rousing half time hairdryer speech would get some players backs up. But I would think that it would have a more general all around happiness effect on players, rather than polarising them.

I mean, I can't imagine someone being furious that their manager has said he has faith in their ability. But at the same time, there probably aren't that many people who would be massively motivated.
