fair enough the big club does get the best deal... but the lower side aren't getting nothing.. this may be a player that can help with promo or relegation. so if the club can have him back rather just selling him outright its the lesser of 2 evils ey?

I do you like your idea about buying a star player, when you don't have the full transfer budget for that player.
It would be nice to see on how the club would react. Good idea. :thup:
The only problem that I can predict is that future transfer fees will be none existant, for a while untill you've re-couped the extra money back, plus they'll be on your back more.

im not saying you should do it often because players that don't work out are going to get u the sack. just players that you no will make an impact on your side.

They'll on your back for a different reason.
or
They'll rejoice in you for a different reason.
Either way its a refreshing change keeping the game fresh. Such as the new media interactions that were introduced into this new incarnation. (FM2008). It will be a subtle welcome edition in my view.
