How would that be realistic though? And to what point would it make the game better?

A good example, is say AC Milan beating Corinthians 7-0 in the World Club cup...I mean, really - that would never happen in reality now would it...

In that case, allow leagues reputations to increase (or decrease).

You'd need to find something to gauge this (UEFA co-efficients maybe?) but it'd be interesting to see what would happen.

Its not a problem with reputation the problem is clubs by no young players what so ever for the future. Whilst if you look at all the big clubs they are constantly picking up young players all the time.

On FM they make 1/2 signings a year (normally less) to replace older players.

Wayne'o, I think the key is to make sure that the other teams are in an active league.

If I play an England-only league, especially with a small DB .. by the tenth or fifteenth season, all of the best players in the world have migrated to England. That's only natural, because that's the league in which there is active scouting and transfer movement.

However, if I play with England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France active, I tend to see the top teams from those countries aggressively pursuing top players. So, now, I won't start a game without them, even if I plan on managing on another continent.
