random seed, seen this in tactical war games where battles have a random seed,

its a bit harsh if it goes against you and you can do nothing with tactics to change it.

noticed in a previous fm me and a friend played and if i looked at his score on latest scores it told us what it was and his match finished liek that whatever he did

I've also always wondered if I was the only one, it doesn't seem to matter how well you were doing last time you played, once you restart you end up doing the opposite, there seems to be no middle ground, your either great or utter rubbish. It's got to the point where if I'm doing well I try and play out the season for fear if I restart it'll all change.

I've been a believe in this for many versions of the game. I know it must be coincidence, but it still doesn't stop me staying up until midnight to prolong an unbeaten run.

i've always thought about this. whenever i have 10 or less games to go and i'm still top, i have to finish the season (6am once!). i've lost many titles to this issue. in my second season with arsenal, i lost only 1 game, my second of the season iirc, yet i went on a 10 game drawing streak, after a longer winning streak. its not a bug imo, but if it was i would step on it and grind it into carpet.
