Hello, some months ago I wrote about a problem I had with my transfer budget.. although I had enough money in my bank balance, I wasn't allowed to spend it on transfers and I only got 10% from the money income received from selling players.
I was suggesteg here from some users restarting my career again, because the problem was solved with the patch, and so I did.
So I started again my career, moving from Romanian first division to Danish second division, playing with Svendborg Boldklubbe.
after 3 seasons and a promotion in first division, I collected about £280,000 which is a fair amount of money for a lower league team, but, at the beginning of my fourth season, I still get no money from the board to spend on players, and I still get 10% from my player sellings. So restarting my career and changing the country seems to be of no help for me.
I would like to know if someone else had the same experience and if this is a known issue.
I understand what you mean TomC, but that sounds something like cheating..I want the game to give me the money I deserve, I don't want to decide myself how much money would be right to have

I haven't spent a single penny since I got to Svendborg as I was never given money..but at the beginning of my career with the team their finances were poor and the board wasn't happy with the balance so I said "ok, I don't have money because there is no money left to spend.."
But now I have £280,000 and the board says to be happy with the money we have..but if I ask the board for extra transfer money they say that they can't accept my request

I believe the reason this happens is that your chairman has a low "Resources" attribute score. Someone else may like to confirm this, but I am sure that if this attribute is low, the chairman is unlikely to give you much of any incoming transfer fees to spend. And asking a chairman with this low score for more money will result in a "declined" response.
So, either accept it as a tight chairman or use the editor to change it to something you think is more realistic for this team. Afterall, that is why the editor is there - to help you make any changes that you think are necessary to reflect reality - or to help you enjoy the game more.

I hope that someone can gconfirm your opinion too
But as much as a chairman can be strict, I don't think that a lower league team chairman need billions of pounds to let you spend some of the team money.. and I don't want to use the editor as it seems to me something as cheating, and also because I don't know what is the right amount of money I deserve with my current budget.
Maybe one thing I can do is changing my team and seeing if I have still the same problem, but what I have seems like an issue to me.

I've just checked this for you.
J. Bertel Rasmussen is your chairman and he has a resources score of 2 out of 20. So, you'll only get 10% to spend. I am sure I looked into this before and for every score for this attribute, you get 5% of the transfer fee to spend.
If you join Silkeborg instead, their chairman - Kent Madsen - has a resources score of 11 so you'll get 55% of wat you receive in transfers to spend elsewhere.
Any more confirmation on that Hawshiels? I always thought it was down to a chairmans ambition rather than resources. I related resources to mean that he could get more money to fund the club if needed. I am just guessing though
