Being able to be an assistant manager in fm??! i think we should be able to do it and if you dont want to do it just dont! i think there should at least be the option! Or they could have it as a download optio reasons why this SHOULD happen!
1. If your sacked by your club and cant get a job you would like you should be able to go to a club as assistant manager and control the reserves and maybe the under 18's!
2. If you are playing online with your mates then you can be there number 2 or they can be yours!
anyone else got any reasons why this should happen??
because the games called 'football manager'. because SI need to balance out the main game instead of adding extra features which are pointless and 1 dimensional.
mate dont listen to these guys it is a good idea and will hopefully be brought in one day, as most football managers have been assistants at one time or another

Because this "It's called Football Manager, not [proposed role] Manager!" nonsense seems to be the universal crappy response to any new role proposals.
What would you do as an Assistant? If you think of the job role in it's current capacity in the game, then it would be tedious.
And in terms of what the player could do, what more is there that could be added to make it fun? It would be much more worthwhile to spend time developing and improving what we've already got then adding features that will add nothing to the game.
