FM is a good simulation of being a Football Manager to a certain degree, we all enjoy it and it engulfs us as we play it
but the mechanics need to change to take it to another level....and it
must happen soon
at the moment, weve had the same transfer system in place in the game for years
Manager makes a bid, bid is accepted/rejected then Manager offers the player contract Accepted/rejeceted
Its the same each time, but what if each transfer could be differnet, what if you could be offering contracts to players before a fee is agreed, or vice versa. there could be several more scenarios making transfer feel different, and not the same mechanic
but you could take it further, what happens if the games transfer market changed over time, like you see in real life at present, with high inflation of prices,
i only say this because, the game feels so straight and narrow, havign a career of over 20years in the game...and nothing in those 20years has football changed, while if u look in real life, many many many things have changed during that time...
but how much of a step up would it be if FM, when your playing your career game, things changed during it, that were variables, like mentioned above
for example, the 7 subs thing in the premiership, league games being played abroad... that would never happen in FM during your career
The present FM wolrd remains the same when you start, to the day you finish your career game...and i think it should change
something like this would put FM and other simulations apart...im not suggesting its possible, but you can do so many different things now with technology
the game feels after so long of playing season after season...the same even with different transfers happening
