I see no reason why not as skins are exactly the same give or take a couple of screens which use elements already present anyway.

I can think of only two new graphics at the moment which are dugouts and the quick flicks buttons - but these are just outlines

you can use them but they will need to be reconfigured because SI Games did change some outlining in several screens

The training screen seems to be the main one that doesn't work (usually giving some error) along with the player position indicator and attributes less than 9 (can be fixed though).

I would strongly recommend against using FM 2005 skins in FM 2006, it could cause a lot of crashes.

You should listen to Ter. He's pretty strong, so when he strongly recommends something then you should listen. Last person that didn't got his face mashed

so what you are saying graeme is that if i use a fm05 skin on my fm06 then ter will come round my house and mash my face in???

he could just fix the skin instead of mashing my face, lol!!!

I don't think he'll pay you a visit, but if you insist on getting your face punched then you could come round our offices and ask to speak to Craig Hunter the big fat Munter.

I don't think Ter could fix all the skins that would need fixed - it might be easier for the people who created the skins in the first place to update them for FM2006. They should use the xml from FM2006 as a base(rather than FM2005) and then they should be able to quickly do the same changes they did for FM2005.

Yeah, most of the graphical files will still be the same and I would suggest as Graeme has already mentioned that skin makers looking to update their skin for FM 2006, delete all the xml in their panels or screens folder and use the new ones from FM 2006.

Colour changes are now a lot easier as we have moved even more into the fm colours.xml (with the excellent help of TeediuS I must add)
