Default Attributes Colours in FM2006

Is anybody able to change the colour of the attributes in FM2006, so that the over 15s are red, 10-14 are orange and the 1-10 are yellow. This was very useful in FM2005 and it would help in the new game!

These colours are set in the fm colours.xml file which you should be able to find in your data/settings directory.

Remember to back up your files before editing

I tried changing these to values that I like, saved the file (unchecking the 'read-only' attribute) and restarted the game but the colors havent changed.

I also switched skins just in case it needed to reset but didnt help.

Here's what I changed just in case I changed the wrong things:

<!-- profile attribute colours -->
<colour name="low attribute" red="180" green="110" blue="0"/>
<colour name="normal attribute" red="220" green="220" blue="0" />
<colour name="good attribute" red="210" green="255" blue="0" />
<colour name="excellent attribute" red="96" green="255" blue="0" />
<colour name="special attribute" red="96" green="255" blue="0" />
<colour name="attribute label" red="255" green="255" blue="255" />
<colour name="special attribute label" red="255" green="255" blue="255" />
<colour name="profile extra text" red="150" green="200" blue="255" />

Changing these I thought would mean when I look at a player profile the stats listed would be shown in the colors defined here (ie for mine a good stat is far more green and a bad stat ranges towards the orange/red).

Am I missing something? I even pasted the entire settings folder into the metalic2006 skins folder (the default one) but made no change either.

Any ideas?

Seems to be an issue with the default metalic2006 skin.

If I switch to the 'metalic' skin then my colors show up fine, but switchign back to the 'metailc2006' skin reverts back to the standard. Thats even though I delete the cache first.

Looking through the skin folder for it I see no file that changes or sets its own colors, any idea why that skin is causing this?

Thanks,
Myros

Nevermind

Deleted the cache again, exited the game, restarted and switched the skin back and its working fine. It was retaining a memory of it in there somewhere.
