I've edited the metallic2006 skin, and want to change the directory and config file names. But if I change them I get an error message (the one in the title) when I try to open FM2006 demo. Any ideas about what's wrong?

You shouldn't really edit the Metallic 2006 skin as that is set as the default in the game code and if those resources aren't there then it might throw up some errors.

You should copy the metallic2006 directory and rename it to something else. There should be some instructions in the sticky thread at the top of the forums.

I've edited the metallic2006skin, then copied/pasted it to another directory, changed it's name and config files and then copied back to the skins folder. So there are both the metallic2006 and my renamed skins in that directory. But I keep getting the same error message

I only change the directory name and the codes above(in the xml file). If the skin's name is oSa Skin, then directory names are "oSaSkin" and "oSaSkin_right". And the prnt value for the first one will be "metallic" and for the right version it will be "oSaSkin". Am I wrong?

I've solved the problem. It was caused by some capital letters I had used in the file names.
