I have made a Basque national side but i cannot put its continent as Europe without the game crashing,I was wondering if its possible for me to take out a country from Europe e.g Andorra and replace them with the Basque country

you can put them as Ocienia. (leave region as central europe as I believe?)

It will work, but they cannot play for any tornaments.

If you want them in Europe playing them put them as Europe and put another nation in Oceniena, e.g. San Marino, then after the world cup, Pays Basequ (SP?) will play for the european championships and then world cup etc.

but I dont think they can play in world cup 06..

no need to, just make the current Pays basque from Ocenia.. or europe and one of the current european countries to Ocenia.

I tried following this and when I started a new game to test it came up with a few array errors but still got to start screen to add manager. it showed Pays basque having a single friendly in 2005 but I wasn't able to play long enough to see if that would crash the game.

they would play in europe (as long as you set them to it, if you choose Ociena, it will only play friendlies...) if europe, wait until after world cup 06 for them to play in euro 08 qaulifying.

got that bit from your previous posts it was more that out of array warnings while it setup a new game that I was thinking and worried about. will have to run it tonight when I'm home from work to see what happens next....

further update on this.....created a holiday game and let it run over night and with the edit as you have indicated above the game crashed.

also I noticed when I loaded the new game with Pays Basque in the team I replaced them with was taken from the world cup qualifying stages and Pays Basque were in place but they had all zeros on the group for Pld W D L etc........the fixtures were fixed though showing that Kazakstan(the team I removed) didn't have any games and the teams that should of played would not have games either...

I think this might be a bit more difficult than just changing a few things to get em playing qualifiers from euro 08 onwards.
