hi, got a problem with the editor. i tried adding in myself, my brother and a mate in, and to put vela in for arsenal, so i created 3 new players for the ones that werent in it, and moved vela to arsenal and configured him out on loan to valencia for 2 seasons, but found out its the wrong vela, so going to edit him so that he's rite. but neway, when i start the game, vela appears as he should be, but my created players dont appear at all. is there any reason for this? i'm using the same name as a manager, but this worked fine on fm2005, so i'm guessing that it should be fine here too.
If not and you've started for your local, you will miss the cut of generated players.
Also if your starting on a free, it maybe because your rep is too low, and the game is pulling through more know players to start on a free.
It could be both of these as well though, apart from that re-load the editor and check its saved, sometimes when am doing back-up i edit the wrong DB, and wonder where my changes are.
yep, starting at arsenal, sent out my bro and mate to leicester on loan for 2 seasons, while i'm still at arsenal, but it won't load up the created players.
reloaded it, checked it was there, and it was, so don't know whats wrong, think a reinstall would help?
I really dont think its anything to do with a bug TBH. Data related incidents are usually a logical problem, created by the user.
Check contracts, club, dates of contracts, if player or non player, if all of them are correct it should be working.
But a re-install would be drastic.
Try and edit someone else in the Arsenal team, see if that works. If so just delete the players you've made, and take the names of some Arsenal kids you know aint gonna make it and are usally released at the end of season.
i'm from UK, so wat your saying is try loading up all the players from england, and that should work? i had a look at the squad list in the editor and the created players are there, but they don't come up in the game.
