I find managing in the MLS (USA league) very frustrating because the regens that are eligible for the MLS SuperDraft are usually of poor quality. Is there a setting in the editor that I can change to increase the CA of regens?
For USA regens, the PA seems to be about right, but the problem is that when the player is eligible for the draft, his CA is still very low. (for example the top players will have a PA of ~160 but a CA of ~85. It's rare to find a players with a CA over 100). This is very different from how the MLS operates in real life. Every year there are usually ~20 players drafted who can contribute to their teams right away.
The problem is compounded by the fact that the MLS's roster rules make it difficult to stockpile and develop good young players.
Would changing the League Standard or Game Importance for the US make for better regens? Or changing the reputation level for the MLS? Or possibly raising the reputation level of the Developmental League (which is where many of the SuperDraft regens come from)?
