I always start in league one or league two. I seem to start off reasonably well to really well. For instance, I'll be in the play off positions ten to fifteen games into the season, but then all of a sudden things go dramatically downhill. I've tried perservering with the same system, changing formations, buying/loaning players in, but I cannot ever seem to get my team back to the excellent way they started the season. What am I doing wrong? Any tips would be gratefully taken onboard. At the moment I'm Brighton in league one in my first season and my decent record of won 8 drawn 4 lost 3 has now turned into 8 - 4 - 8. This seems to be a regular trend.
Started off as Hartlepool...inly had 1 REALLY bad patch...just wait till get back on form...and try and get the draws in on your bad spell....but i was in League 1
Basically, you are classed as a better team because of your results so far, this means the AI will play more defensive and counter attacking. Also known as the mid season slump.
