I usually use two teams when i'm playing (Arsenal and Dagenham) When i was Arsenal manager i picked up a lot of cheap youngsters that my scouts said could be world class like Cardenas, Tuia, Bojan, Saviet, Bale, Milan etc. I played them all in the CC, and gave them odd run outs in the FA cup, CL,
Prem etc over the years careful not to burn them out. I even gave them the odd loan spell here and there but the stats hadn't gone up as much as i expected.
I started again with Daggers and 5 years in i made it to the premiership so my board are letting me scout abroad and i sent em out to look at all the kids i had at Arse and the stats are all pretty much better than when i had them at the same stage. At Arsenal i obviously had top training facilitys and 5 star coaching so i'm guessing my regimes weren't all that even tho i tried made up special ones for all the hot kids.
Since Daggers are crap and i couldn't just buy good players in every position i spent any extra cash in the kitty on training facilitys and in my second season broke the bank to get in six coaches so everything was on 4 or 5 star and there were improvements in everyone at everything when i did this even the older players (mid to late 20s) and especially in new signings that came from smaller clubs. Now i'm in the
prem i've got a few Brazilian teens with **** hot stats but i'm stugglingling to improve them much after that initial burst when they join the club.
So basically i want to know is what am i doing wrong? to actually improve stats at a particular thing do they have to train on heavy or can they improve on medium? Do the improvemnts get set in stone or can they go backwards if i relax on that type of training? What level of training is enough so i don't see stats go down?
I have this 19 year old mid Ricardo and have been training him in my standard AM training but he already has strength-16, stamina-19, passing-20, tackling-20, free kick-20, corner-16, so i was just gunna relax most of his training to light and then hammer it on shooting, tactics, ball control and aerobic. Will that work?
Thanks
