Now I've lost my first game and my players are going to struggle.

What should I do?

Shouldn't be a problem really, might just take 3 games or so for the players to get match fit. Sometimes I often cancel my friendlies.

Ah fair enough. Hope I don't lose those first few games. I'm on a network game and I can't afford to lose at all!!

you should be ok, half the time the players wont play a full game in the friendlies anyway

the same thing happened to me too last season...
had a slightly bad start but it got ok, shouldnt be anythin major to worry about
