at the moment im 10th in the epl

any help on how to improve this tactic would be greatly appreciated because if i lose anymore games im going to get the sack

Have a look on the good players & teams forum. There is a whole thread devoted to Man utd.

For help on this forum, have a quick read of the rules to find out you have just broke them and then have a look at the tactics bible at the top of the page, it is invaluabl for us mere mortals to gain an understanding.

p.s. I use minimul fuss's tactic and it works well.

TBH the tactic bible isnt much help just more guess work by other people. until si tell us what tactics is all about, it might stop the i hate the game on the general forum

Its not all guess work and is useful lol, most of it is facts and not assumptions.

Then you have not look at every single thread, or didn't understand it properly.

Also use the in game tutorial, that pretty much explains things too.

the AI knows what happends in the game before you do, example my last game away to newcastle they have had no shots in 80mins to my 17 they change formation, i press tactic change but i've got to watch there first attack of the game they score!!! and as soon as they score they change to 4-2-4 and score again.

That's perfectly normal in a game, your fears that the AI has some dark plot that predetermines that you lose your game is unfounded of course. When you press continue and if you do nothing durng the course there can be a variety or results in the game, it all depends on what happens first. You could score early and then go on to win the game, or you could lose a key player to injury and then you could lose the game.

Thing is it appears very plausible that the AI considered that it was not making any headway against you and kept you at bay despite the fact that you had 17 shots, and towards the end of the game it changed formations and struck back. Your failure to respond to match what the AI was doing is your own fault. These things happen in the game, the difference between a good player and a bad player is that good player knows how to hold onto a lead.


Why shouldn't they change to a 424, that's what I would have done to you if your playerrs were knackered or if some of your fullbacks were carded. Sounds like you just got beaten by a better player
