Thanks for the tactic mate. I've been wanting too play three at the bacvk for a while, fiddled around a bit then jumped on here looking for a heads up.
I had a front formation i wanted to try but your defense setup is great, i was conceding far less goals once i downloaded this one.
I played a holiday game (left on overnight) with my tactic and it performed pretty well. Using atletico madrid a few games played into the third season. Got me third place first season which was an improvement over last year (fourth) though i suffered a bit in the cups, getting knocked out of the champs league in the groups. Got third the next season as well, next season though the computer sold aguero and only managed fifth, torres moved to man utd next year on a free and the team slumped to midtable (9th) the year after torres had left.
Atletico (and the tactic) made a comeback next season though, the computer splurged and spent 44 million on players. Finsihed third one season and then second the next. That's when i woke up and stopped the holiday game.
Just started a new game with Roma and i'm going to try to tune it more now. Still i think it went pretty well on the holiday game.
ps:- I have my front four set up in a box formation. Two strikers, two amc's with diagonally leaning arrows going up to the respective wingforward positions. My DMC was set to more defensive and the wingbacks have up arrows. Judging from the results it seems to perform really well at home, sometimes racking up big scores but almost all the losses happening away.
pps:- Loving using a back three and not having any wingers

. Been ages (multiple CM/FM's) since i've used three at the back successfully and i can't even remember the last time i didn't have wingers. Especially seeing as they're normally so important.
