I sm trying this tactic , it looks good , one thing a have to say is that it takes a horse of an attacking midfielder to play this for 90 min, closing down on full and arrow down ... can´t see the veron´s and ronaldinho´s doing it

I knew that
As a solution to it I always buy AMCs like Ballack instead of Ronaldinho
I always have 1 AMC in the match squad and 1 AMC in the bench and I make substitutions around 60th minute

what about your marking don´t the defenders need to be marking tight, seems like the the others teams attackers are getting too many shots in

I will try that
I didnt think about that before because attackers usually shot not from the penalty area and in the turkish league there arent many attackers with good long shots
I can use it in the second version

What a great tactic! I have just played 10 games with Rangers, with this tactic. Here is my team:

GK -- Klos

LB -- Bernard
RB -- Ricksen
CB -- Vanden Borre
CB -- Rodriguez

DM -- Ferguson
ML -- Denilson
MR -- Burke / Brown
AM -- Buffel / Namouchi

SC -- Balaban
SC -- Prso

Here is my results with this tactic:

Rangers 4 - 0 St Johnstone (CIS Cup 3rd Round) WIN

Rangers 2 - 1 Dundee UTD (League) WIN

Rangers 4 - 0 Villarreal (Champions League Grp F)WIN

Livingstone 2 - 4 Rangers (League) WIN

Rangers 1 - 0 Celtic (League) WIN C'mon :cool:

Rangers 5 - 1 Inverness CT (League) WIN

Rangers 1 - 0 Juventus (Champions League Grp F) WIN Historical! :thup:

Kilmarnock 1 - 2 Rangers (League) WIN

Rangers 5 - 1 Hibernian (League) WIN

Juventus 1 - 1 Rangers (Champions League Grp F) WIN I love this tactic!

Played = 10

Won = 9

Drawn = 1

Lost = 0

Goals For = 29
Goals Against = 7

Some of these results are amazing to say the least! This is the best tactic I have tried for Rangers so far. I would advise anyone to give this a try is you are looking for a good diamond tactic.

After a dodgy start of 3 straight defeats, this tactic started to kick in & I recorded some good wins against ManU, Liverpool & Chelsea playing as Spurs.

I think the hard tackling on the AMC, & wingers is not a good idea as players in these positions rarely have the the tackling & decisions to pull off those hard tackles.

The maximum closing down tires out some players alot & some will finish the game at 55%.

As a result of this I found I was conceding late goals.

I think some tweaking in the later stages of the game is required like more timewasting & lower mentality to hold leads against strong opposition.

Good tactic if you can get the players. :thup:

If I give less duty to AMC and wingers in defance, DMC will do all the work for them and I will need a superb, worldclass DMC
As you said it is a really good tactic if you put the right players
