Giving free role to DMC didnt work for me
As he was the only DMC it created a lot of space for the opposition

So far so good. 17 games, 15 won and 2 drawn. Still playing HJK 3rd season. And, team is good enough to do that with proper tactic, as I said already before.

Some room of improvement could be in corner(att) instructions.

Also, I've handeled the fatigue of AM position by simply keeping two good AMC's in the squad. I usually make sub at 60-70mins depending on how game is going.

2nd qual. round behind, won Artmedia(slovakian, all-grey) total of 5-1. The first real challenge is coming when my team facing Boavista 3rd qual round. I'll get to that tomorrow, or weekend.

I've also noticed that mabye the real key attributes for strikers are their skill to move to crosses and head the ball. Large number of goals are result of good crossing and heading.

My "star" striker is currently substitude player, as my not-so-good, but tall&strong strikers keeps bagging goals(jump 17 head 16 stren 15 offthe 16). The short, skillfull striker can't get to scoring positions because he keeps on loosing headers(jump. 5 strenght 9).

Update on Man Utd game - season 2.

Took advise on strikers and swapped over -RVN scoring freely, but Zigic not doing to well, I tend to bring on Rossi.

Played the 5 friendlies tonight 4 of 5 convincing win and one narrow victory.

The real test comes tommorow CS against Aresnal.

Looking good so far.

If you feel that you really lost the contraol in the midfield,
Take your wingers to the DMC position arrows to wings.

The first game with this tactic produced my worst performance of the season in a drub 1-0 loss at Boro.

But the players soon adapted to the tactic and we went on a mammoth (kinda) unbeaten run before sucumbing to 2 wonder goals at Pompey.

Oh, and the only tweak I made was to make the 2 full backs the same in player instructions

In-game, if I need a goal, I'll change the full-backs' mentality to the teams' and arrow them forward one.

Let me first congratulate you for your amazing tactic. I´ve first tried, for a while, my own tactics but whith very little success. Maybe because I like defensive tactics and despite several cleansheats, I couldn´t score enough for big wins. So I´ve decided to give it a go withe this forums tactics. Tried most of them with spurs, not because I´m a fan but it allows me to generate enough money, by selling players, to purchase the necessary ones ti fit each individual tactic, and still not being one of the main contenders to the Premier, at least not one of the main 4´s . So I did it with your tactic. I was able to bring to the club several players with the stats required to suit your tactic (very demanding one).
Players like Iaquinta, Eddie Johnson, Cesar Delgado, Kily Gonzalez, Mauro Esposito, Diana, Grygera, Borre, Altintop, Maxwell, sivok, Andrés felipe gonzalez, edgar barreto, daniel jensen, mokoena, vilakazi, castrillón, martin stranzi, wilhelmsson, grygera and I still kept Paul Robinson, defoe, King, dawson and ziegler.
With those players I managed not to change anything in the tactic. Just the corner instructions with one defender staying back, all others at 2 post and my best shooting player in the area limit.
My pre-season was amazing. Beating Benfica, Ajax and porto by more then 3 goals.
But the season started with a loss away. Can´t remenber the team. Let me just say that I won the League´s cup to Arsenal (5-2) and the Premier to chelsea, a 10 points lead and 30 wins, 5 draw and 3 losses. Amazing!
Iaquinta was unbelievable!!!! 47 goals in 32 matches. Defoe with 25. Then Esposito and kily gonzalez where my better players, very consistent. Sivok an amazing defender midfield. Vilakazi, always at his best... and borre gained the titularity very quickly learning with king. Maxwell a good fullback, as trabelsi and altintop. Other players where rotating and made good performances. Unfortunatly, Eddie J. was injured for 5 months but in the 9 games he played... scored 10!
Above all it was a pleasure to see them play. A dream team. Dribling, crossing, passing was always a delight to see and very diversified to. I was impressed by that. (surely because of the high creativity that some of the players had and of course that your tactic allowed). Players understood in early matches what was asked from them and setlled right away in the squad system. Still they improved brilliantly along the season (so did their stats-which made them even more strong in their original positions). So, this feedback of mine won´t help you improve your tactic because, with the right players, there is almost nothing to improve. It´s almost perfect if we can say this in the football worls (sometimes oponent goals happen no matter what tem or tactic you have). But even in the losses and draws that I suffered, my team was always dominating and missed many chances. I´m a big fan of your tactic. Now I´m going to try it out with a smaller club like wigan.
