Hi, thanks for this tactic.
Was getting a bit bored with the game and as I was always playing as Leicester( my team) thought i'd choose another Championship team and i'm now manager of west Brom. Just played 3 pre season friendlies and this tactic on theevidence of the 3 games is fantastic.
The amount of possesion you get and goal scoring chances is really good, having John Hartson holding up the ball and giving Jason Koumas a free role is a must. Got the day off work Tuesday and intend to spend a good few hours trying this tactic how more then and will report back to you how i get on.

In previous versions it was not to hard to take a team from the lower divisions right up to the Premiership, but FM 2007 is much more harder.
Every time i get promotion i think, well maybe thats as far as i can take them.
Now in Division 1 with Nuneaton and my first game was at home to Leeds. Despite home advantage Leeds were massive favourates.
How about this outcome?
Don't know how it's working for other teams but for me there isn't a better tactic around!

why havent you tick on the targetman option, as one of the strikers are set up as one.
and how well are you doing defensively as both nuneaton and leeds, are you getting clean sheets or do yo always let in a goal or two

Ignore my last post, downloaded the tactic. Dont you make any changes at all according to what kind of team you play?

I used to use the targetman option but then i found using it to much causes the opponents to suss you out quickly. Also i want to mix it sometimes than than going for the same option.
As for changing it for away games or different teams... did you not read the original post?
Go narrow and maybe alter passing and tempo if nessessary.

| I read it but it seems to me to be risky to say the least to have an attacking mentality when u visit places like Anfield, Old Trafford, Stamford Brige etc..

I play as Spurs and lost 2-0 at Anfield, however, L'pool were lucky, only had 2 shots on target! I'd like to know what u do when playing away and go behind, play even more attcking, or ?

Betis_DK: Maybe your right, i havn't tested it much against those teams. But i personally go by the theory that if you try to hold those teams, you can but it's hard doing it for 90 mins. So i try to have a go at them instead, attack is the best form of defence!
It's working for Nuneaton when i play teams of better quality in THEIR division but of course the quality in the Premier is completely different.
