How do I get the best from David Villa?

You're kidding?

Villa is incredibly good as a striker, much much better than Trezeguet.

I play him with Gilardino as my TM, make sure he has creative freedom and gets plenty of good balls through playmakers.

Has scored 43 from 50 in my first season, 42 from 58 in my second and currently has 15 from 17 in my third season.

And that's topped with 46 assists and with a team of goalscorers.

Villa is a great striker he just plays crap in the first season u buy him in, give him time to settle.

I'd say FR often, RWB often, lots of creative freedom (he has great PPM's). My favourite player on the game. Perhaps make him TM with run onto ball supply if up front alone. Or if you play him with Torres then give him similar instructions and then make your wingers cross to far post and your CM's TTB's often.
