So? Chelsea, and maybe a couple of other teams are just the ones with the most money. You don't need money, it's a challenge. That's what FM07 is all about. You're Valencia even, you don't need much done to your squad aswell.

so far have Canizares injured for 3 monthes which is a huge blow to the team and have sold Marchena and Miguel for a combined total of 10.5M and only have brought in Motta from Barca for 3.8M

I have been lucky no serious injuries yet (touch wood).

Sold Miguel (there was no pleasing him) for 6.25m to liverpool. Managed to bring in Zonneveld on loan and Borre, Delgado and Sturgis to give some versitility and cover.

Acepted a bid from spurs for Marchena but it has been sitting there for a few weeks and the window is closing soon, weird.

Star man so far has been Joaquin. Beat Hearts 3-0 over 2 legs in the CCQ. Craig Gordon was unbeleivable in both games.

My first league game was a bit of a farce. Joaquin sent off in the 28th for nothing (match report just says delgado unhappy with red card). Managed to score 2 goals, ultra defensive, playing counter attack and picked up a further 6 yellow cards, 2 of which were awarded after I instructed to tackle easy. Something seems off with the cards, picked a few up in pre-season too.

Was a tense game though
