Playing as QPR, first season, have done reasonably well to bulk up the squad with loans ansd a couple of cheap purchases.

I now have a little over £100K to spend on a right back to replace/provide cover for Marcus Bignot.

This will be during the January transfer window, so any decent frees that were available at the start have gone (probably).

My tactic would be best suited to someone who has a fair turn of speed and can sling in a decent cross or two.

I am running the English, Dutch, Italian and Spanish leagues and have the players loaded from France, Germany, Sweden & Denmark on a medium database.

I'm playing well and near the top of the table, so could potentially get promotion... so anyone able to cut it in the Prem would be an added bonus!

I know it's a tough ask... but anyone good doesn't seem to want to come to QPR or are too expensive.

not sure if he'll be on ur database but try martyn corrigan from motherwell got him for about 35k with leeds an was god buy for league 1 on weegie update

You could try loaning a player from the EPL.

Thanks for the replies... been away a couple of days so not checked on the list.

Just in case you were interested:

Martyn Corrigan has joined for £20K, has come on as a sub in his first game and did well considering he had only just joined the club that very day and he came on for a player that got red carded.

Darren Barr left Falkirk on a free at the start of the season and joined Man City, he is now worth £1.2M and currently on loan back up north with Aberdeen.

I'm negotiating with Norwich for Andrew Cave-Brown to come on loan, he's obviously still quite young, so one for the future, but I'm not the only team interested in him.

Have put in a £60K bid for James Fowler, but Leicester have matched my offer, waiting to see what Kilmarnock do now.

Espen Ruud is worth £400K and so out of my price range, but I'll keep an eye out on him if I get some cash later in the game.

Danny Szetela is not in my game.
