Whats the best way to deal with this ? Just bought Eddie Johnson, and hes unsettled in Italy, anyway of getting around this? Also, whats the best way of playing Johnson, hes just not scoring atm. Any help appreciated.

Wait and/or sign another american. This will be difficult in Italy. Play Johnson as a TM, with ball played to head.

i already have Tim Howard, so i doubt that has an impact. Also, isnt it a bit dramatic to change your tactics by using a target man, doesnt it stop you playing free flowing football ?

It supposedly helps. Never done it myself, specially in Italy. But I also never sign non-EU players...

A target man doesn't stop attractive football, it gives you something to focus on, especially if the TM is a skillful one (like Ibrahimovic)

unfortunatly when a player is unsettled you just have to try to help him by playing him every now and again. I went through the same thing with Luca Toni when I bought him for ManUtd. Took him 2 season to adjust but it was worth it! Scored heaps of goals and shot ManUtd to their third consecutive champions league win

Send him on loan helps, but if he is a first team player then you dont want to really do that. Also you can send your players on a break home.

Play Eddie as a targetman. Pregame talk to him should be "I have faith", same at halftime no matter what the score, no matter what his form. Hes one of the easiest to get motivated this way and you can get reactions like "Inspired" or even "Inspired to a Great performance"

Never ever critize him. Praise him in the media, but beware when responding to a newspaper comment...he feels pressured sometimes.

What about if you have two players who get all stroppy and decide not to like each other? They one is in main squad and other reserves but they apparently they can't stand each other and have to talk to the press about it. Can I discipline them?

ive had that in my previous season because of personality differences, they decided they couldnt work together, but i just left it and i havent heard anything since, so i guess just ignore it lol
