Blackburn rovers are a club remembered for winning the title in 1994 - 1995 season. Just 5 years after struggling in the 2nd division. But unfortunately 4 yrs later were sadly relegated back into the football league. It took them just 2 years to return to the premeirship and have stayed there evr since, gradually getting higher in the table, blackburn have now established themselves as a pretty decent premiership side. Especially after a 7th position finish last season. With a couple of nifty little signings you could easily get them into europe and put some money bcak into the club!! so people give it a shot as it seems to be quite a challenge.

Seems like not many people are playing as Blackburn
1st Season
In summer transfer window of 1st season sold Paul Gallagher to Coventry for £1.9mil and used the money to bring in Higuain and Guardado and signed Cardenas on a pre-contract. Then in January signed Vilakazi and Haestad for peanuts.
Ended the season in a respectable 4th having challenged for a European place all season. I also had an amazing run in the Euro Cup beating Liverpool in the final. One of the highlight of the season being getting Alex Ferguson sacked on the last day with a 3-1 victory.
2nd Season-
Being in a much stronger financial position I was able to splash the cash and bring in Renato Augusto for £10mil as well as Wayne Bridge and Eduardo Ratinho. In January I signed Ronaldo for 850k from Chelsea which was a bargain!
This season was a bit strange! I went into it hoping to retain a top 4 spot as Man Utd was still struggling to recover after losing Fergie. I ended up winning the league on the last day! beating Chelsea to the title by one point. [IMG] [/IMG]
Not only that but somehow I was able to reach the Champions League final and beat Real Madrid to lift the trophy for the 1st time in Blackburn's history.

I now have £40mil in the bank and would welcome ideas on how to improve the squad further! i dont expect to achieve the same success in season 3!
(For all of you thinking I must have cheated try signing the players I have and tell me you dont have the same result, I didnt expect the success to come this early)
