Middlesborough Away L 1-0
Sheff Utd Home D 0-0
Chelsea Away L 2-0
Everton Away L 2-1
Wigan Home W 2-0
Man Utd Away W 3-2 (Ferdinand Stoppage time O.G )

Sitting 11th still 6 points off 6th place but 10 points away from drop zone now. Into January and now looking to offload some players so that funds can be made available!

West Ham Away L 2-0 (FA Cup)
Spurs Home W 2-0
Charlton Away D 1-1
Reading Home D 1-1
Newcastle Away L 2-1
Aston Villa Home L 2-0
PSG Away D 3-3 (UEFA Cup)

Still sitting mid table in 11th. 11 points of 6th though now and now only 8 points off the relegation places. Looks like a safe mid table position is likely but I feel that the UEFA Cup is a real possibility!

Matt Jansen????(can't understand why)
Pretty clear that you didn't follow Rovers too closely between 1998 and 2002 then. Jansen was one of the key players in our promotion season, and also in the 10th place finish and League Cup win the season after. But yeah, while there's no doubt he is well liked by the fans, it's also a bit strange to see him up there and not see, for example, Simon Garner.

PSG Home W 1-0 (Agg W 4-3)(UEFA Cup)
Fulham Away L 2-1
Liverpool Home W 1-0
West Ham Away W 2-1 (UEFA Cup)

The cup run has dented the league form but a top half finish will still respectable. All efforts to win the UEFA Cup now!!!

Well out of the UEFA Cup and sitting in the bottom half of the table as dissapointing season draws to an end but 6 games to go so a few good results will hopefully improve the league position!

So the start of Season 2.

Over the summer I have brought in most noteably david dunn, steve sidwell, maciej zurawski and greg halford aswell as a few brilliant youngsters. Spending a grand total of £1.5m!

So let the season begin!

Season 3

After last years amazing season I was looking to secure my place as title challengers and reach at least the quarter finals of the Champions League to get the TV money.

Transfers in-
Went a bit crazy this year and spent £30 mil. on players which the board wasn't too happy about. Brought in Ustari, Luizao, Alberto Bueno, Carlos Javier Acuna, Lebohang Mokoena, Nicolas Millian, a left back from Corinthians called Bruno who I have not heard of before and a DM called Lucas from Santos. I also signed Drew Moore from FC Dallas my new affiliate club which vastly increased my merchandising income. Ustari and Luizao turned out to be amazing signings as Blackburn was 10 games without conceding a goal in the league. Carlos Javier Acuna was my leading goalscorer and took fans player of the year. I only signed Lucas in January but has shown great promise and now most attacking moves start with him.

Results-
Crashes out of both the FA cup and League cup in the first rounds, although I was drawn against Man Utd and Liverpool for them. Won European Super Cup against Porto and won the World Club Championship. Beat Bolton in the Charity Shield. In the Champions league I was able to qualify easily for the knockout stages where I was beaten by the eventual winner Roma in the Quarter Finals. In the League I struggled early on due to a large number of injuries but was sitting in 1st at Christmas, then Chelsea went on a 16 match winning streak and overtook me. However with 8 games to go they collapsed and ended up in 3rd with Blackburn claiming the title for the 2nd year running on the final day of the season, AGAIN!

Interesting points-
Man Utd are now being managed by Gareth Southgate with him being their 4th manager in 3 years.
Chelsea sacked Mourinho and they are now managed by Mark Bowen my former assistant manager and I only got around 3 grand in compensation.
Stadium in being expanded to a massive 43300 seats!
