Cup Run - Q FINALS (k/o by Sevilla)

Fairly pleased with the season and our position of 12th (with 46p) and on many occasions I felt we played really well and often drew or lost (especially against mid ranking teams at Home) when all we needed was some clinical finishing and a little more creativity. Against the 'big' teams we also seemed to play quite well but just faded away once they scored.

In negotiations with board re new contract they only want to give me a rolling one (possibly because we are insecure financially). Also weirdly the board are ‘delighted’ yet ‘disappointed with our league season’ although we did slacken off when we knew we would avoid relegation I feel that is rather harsh.

Plus Points for Season

-conceded 5th least goals in league
-the free transfers I have managed to get in for next year
-cup run (even though Sevilla k/o us we played superbly in each leg)

Bad Points for Season

-finances
-lack of goals/creativity
-away record against poor teams

help...i now have been given no transfer budget and he highest amount I can spend on a single players wage is 900 quid.

we are allededdly 6 million pound in debt and this despite i have never gone over the wage budget and have spent a net amount of 1.5 million pounds

You should start making money once you get into your new ground. I found season2 to be the toughest one.
