there are your 2 kinds of strikers the pacey skilfull striker and the strong striker, Both need high ratings for finishing, composure, anticipation, and off the ball but then for the pacey striker you also need high stats for dribbling, balance, agility, acceleration, pace.
The strong strikers key attributes are strength, balance, jumping, heading. Then you have the others that benefit both kinds of strikers like technique, first touch, passing. I dont think though, that composure is that important and that finishing most definetely is. I signed a 21 year old striker for my boca team (Wason Renteria from Internacional) he has a 16 for finishing and a 4 for composure and in his first 3 games he scored 3 goals and he has everything. Strength, dribbling, pace, heading, he's a great player but has a competitive streak which makes him kick out at other players like a lot of south american players do!

i wouldnt say positioning is important for a striker thats for a defender or a defensive midfielder for when they need to be well positioned to cut out passes and block opposing players routes to goal.

if your players likes to play long shots theoretically a player might be more likely to score with high long shot\ composure than long shot\finishing due to the fact that he will likely bottle it with the slightest bit of pressure without high composure.
so it depends what type of player you are looking for i believe.

when i look at a striker i dont just look at composure (yes its a great stat to have high, but not a must have), i look at several things, obviously the composure and finishing, but also agility and things like that, the ability to run fast is always execellent for a striker and i also like a bit of technique in there so he can get passed his man, these all combined = unstoppable |

for a premiership striker I would have 12 for finishing and 18 for compusure than the other way around tbh

| to be honest, there is no answer to this :S each stat has its own advantages, id say a mixture of them all would bring the best results

sorry for double post, yes i would have to agree with you there, when i was typing wat i said, i was mainly thinking of the main striker so if your looking for a partner to a main striker then i agree long shots is good
