Hi all,

I just really had a poor season with Arsenal... No real big wins - most I achieved was making the semi finals of the Champions League - other than that poor!!!

So what do I need to do - help!!!

OK. I had a good first season with Arsenal then poor second season. I got in too many new players when I didn't need too.

Let us know your tactics and stuff would love to help if I can.

Yikes! That is bad. No CL football must have made the board pretty ****ed off with you!!

Anyway, first the team instructions. You cant give Arsenal players such little creativity mate! Hleb, Rosicky, Fabregas, Van Persie are all highly creative players and need some freedom to express themselves! Thats the first thing you got to change. Keep it on normal for the whole team. But give Fabregas full creative freedom and the same with Van Persie. I'd recommend it with Rosicky & Hleb as well tbh but I suppose you can get by with it on normal as well. Also, I wouldnt recommend a playmaker. Again, any of the midfield 3 can be great playmakers so not best to concentrate the play through 1 player (I'm assuming its Cesc). And also, playing offside works best if you have the DL higher up. Arsenal have very quick defenders so you can push the line up a little more and play offside and you should get away with most of the time. Dont do it against big teams though. And have the tempo on slow. IMO, the game works better if you have your players play slowly. Not sure about it though but that's how I feel.

Next to your squad. Kewell & N'Zogbia?? Are you kidding? Not close to being good enough mate! I'd recommend you get rid of those two for starters and then also Diaby, Eduardo, Song, Flamini, Senderos & Lehmann. None of those quite cut it sadly (Lehmann's just old). I hope you havent got rid of Djourou? If you still have him, get rid of Naldo. Djourou is 10 times better. And with Richards there as well, you have 4 class CB's. Play Denilson as DM alongside Cesc. Better than Micah in that position. Richards is an awesome CB so try to use him there as much as possible. Also, Sagna is better than Eboue at RB. Your strikers are fine. Vela will back from loan and I suggest you send him out again. He wont be good enough just yet. I see Obafemi Martins has a "wnt" icon infront of him. I've never been a fan tbh. He's quick as hell but his finishing & composure are not all that great. If you can get a good price for him, sell him and buy either Fred or Briand. MUCH better ST's imo.

Oh, and is you team, whenever you play RVP, Hleb & Rosicky, give them all free roles. All 3 thrive on it. Even if they are all playing at the same time, do so. It works very well.

Play plenty of pre-season games (minimum 6-7) so your players get used to your new tactics. Good luck. :thup:
