I am thinking of selling Alan Smith in the 2nd seson january transfer window, got offered 7.5M for him in the summer and clubs are still interested in him.

Replacement im thinking of going for is Taarabt, he looks promising and Smith has got nowhere near the 1st team so it doesnt matter if Taarabt isnt ready for 1st team football for a season or so. Just wondering how good he is?? He looks promising and other midfielders who are young and play similar positions i think will be out of my price range.

Any thoughts on Taarabt would be great.

Pasqualle Foggia an AM RLC who i signed for 8m from Lazio hasnt been mentioned on here from what i can see looks quality on my game,would be interesting if anyone's taken a punt on him as well?

yeah hes alright depends though can turn out amazing or be a bit part player. depends how much you are going to have a pay? usually goes on a free 3rd season or so.

Yeah Taarabt's a tough one, cause he's either really good or just average.

Though I guess with good training he'll turn out OK regardless...Its a bit of a gamble though. I wouldn't pay top dollar to get him early on though.

There's probably other types that are a safer option if you're looking to pay top dollar for a class player.
