But I think they're just enjoying their time with the beta. It's a real shame.
How on earth did you land at that conclusion???

Nah y'all got this wrong. SI should forget about Football Manager Live and concentrate on FM.

I dont really see what the fuss was with FML I mean people paying a monthly fee to play online?

That already exists with FM and network games.

Miles has answered this point before. SI has to release the game annually to remain financially viable. That's the bottom line folks!

Just look at the amount of stupid little bugs in the game. I don't even mean the ones that take forever to find or the ones that ruin your game.. But just the little ones.

You know, a big picture is made of little details.

It's not hard to see that most beta tester's aren't doing their job well enough.

Sorry I just don't agree with that what so ever. :thdn:

I can't be bothered to write up a decent post in my argument against that. I just think it's really easy for people to look for someone to blame rather than drawing a sensible conclusion.

Not really the closing down bug the long shots bug the amount of disallowed goals bug and the number of yellow cards bug were obvious in my first 3 games of FM. How the tester didnt see that is beyond me.

Also the team talks - what do they really do? Do they have an affect? Not really according to my Ass man he noted no specifc changes?!?! everytime in every half. Might as well not have a team talk. Complete waste of a click.

To me it feels the testing is done now by board members rather then beta testers in the development stage. This is why the board is full of angery people waiting for a decent patch. Not only are we doing the testing for free but we have to pay SI £24.99 to do the testing for them.

Some of these bugs weren't always present SI has stated on numerous occasions. The thing is... It isn't the testers not doing their job properly, some of these bugs surfaced when they tweaked other issues within the game, thus causing unexpected knock-on effects.

Weren't always present? 95% of the board members are ranting about these bugs every min on here. Look in the bugs forum.

I understand there are knock on affects there always is always will. But the thing is the obvious bugs weren't delt with to the point where they didn't or couldnt exist.

Take for ex the fiest patch fixed the closing down bug. The 2nd patch brought it back it.

It was obvious SI didnt do any testing to see if bugs reappeared.
