i agree look at alex fergurson he cant be called dis loyal to man utd but he does sometimes sell his best players if they speak out against him or the team so he would have a really low rating on fm08 even though he is proberbly the most loyal (to his team) manager out there

You're looking at it wrongly. It's not a rating of your loyalty to both, rather a sliding scale between team and player loyalty.

if that is the case alex fergurson would have a really bad loyal rating in game as he will always think of the team before a player so his team rating would be high but his player rating really low which would avraged out equal a low rating

Yes but that's a data issue rather than how the game interprets our actions.
