Actually do some (proper) product testing. Then, when you are sure that the game is in a playable state, release it for sale. The game will then get better reviews and more people will play it. The people who do play it will be more satisfied.

So many mistakes were made this time it's not even funny. And no, I will not be buying FM08 this year, not even when you've panicked and bought out your little patch to make everything all rosey.

waynef is right. FM 08's expectations have gone high after the previous installments success. Just give SI a chance and they will deliver back a game which has success as its middle name. Bring on the patch!

A limited internal testing team will never find all the bugs, especially in a game like FM.

I can't understand why they didn't release a beta demo this year, that all they would have had to do.
version 8.0.0 should have been released as a beta demo, then 8.0.1 as a gold demo, and sent as masterdisc to publishers.

Then they wouldn't get review comments like "unfinished" and "haste is waste" FM and SI's CM has always gotten 5 out of 6 in Norways biggest newspaper, this year 3/6 with the comments listed above.

Beta demo next year guys, you need testers by the thousands before you send the game for production!
