45! What machine are you running it on?! Must be good. I usually have All English, Scottish, Spain and Norway Leagues thing thats about 16 leagues in all (May be wrong) - Doesnt ruin the experience for me
six, first (premier) division of England, Spain, Italy, Germany, France and then the English championship. My computer isn't slow, i just choose to play with fewer leagues.
22 leagues in 10 different countries. Started as Bologna in Serie B in what I think will be my long term game in FM2008. The goal is to get offered the Spurs job down the line.

I get the same reaction when I tell people that I run all 117 leagues from 51 nations - minimum detail. Takes around 1.5-2 weeks to complete a season (when leaving the game running all day long) on 1GB RAM and a Pentium M 2.4ghz processor. I should cut down really cos I'm probably never going to manage in Mexico or anywhere like that, but it's nice to think that one day I might get an offer in Ukraine or Sweden and I might fancy taking it.
I think SI should put in a feature where you can pick new leagues to put into the game as you go along. For example, choose 5 nations like England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and then manage a few seasons, and then think "Ooh, I think I'll stick Scotland and Wales in there too" and you select them. The game then automatically processes their seasons that they haven't been involved in up to the current date, and then you continue playing as normal.
