sorry to post this here, but the fm2007 bugs forum has been made read only, though I cannot access it either to do a search if there is a workaround for this at all.
The problem I have is that some staff I sack remains listed at my staff screen, with some options kept (like scouting a playeR), though I cannot assign them to a training category anymore.
Is there a way to overcome this and get rid of them?
I tried one thing before, which I though might solve this and signed one of these coaches for another team (taking control with a new manager at a managerless team and then retiring from the game immediately after I signed the coach), but he is still listed under my staff list, although he is working for the other team.
I can't get rid of them with a savegame editor either as they do not appear at staff list as far as I can remember.
All in all it is not a big issue, as they do not take up the space from other coaches if I sign new ones, but it is annoying.
