Now whenever I read these forums and I read people badmouthing the game I get a bit annoyed. I completly agree that it isn't good enough and it has flaws but its still a brilliant game....
But tonight I have finally caught up with everyone's way of thinking.
I've just finished my second season as manager as Sheffield United. Before I started my expectations were to win the Championship by the end of year 2. I finished runner up in my first year, gaining promotion. In my second year I finished 14th in the Prem...
Yet for some reason the board are unhappy with me!
Is this because I didn't actually win the Championship? If so thats just incredible and I take back all the times I have stuck up for the game.
This confidence report occurs when you exceed the board's predictions and also fail to get relegated the following season following an earlier than predicted promotion.
According to SI, this particular confidence report issues is a bug that has been fixed with the 8.01 patch.
I've found the confidence bug appears in all different scenarios, my board were generally satisfied with 27.5m season profit, winning the prem and fa cup and runner up in champions league with liverpool, after taking them over with only one win in the first 6 games. They keep citing my 0-0 away result against Real Madrid in the first knockout stage of the Champions League as something that will take the fans a long time to get over?! I won the home leg 3-0!

Just to update I have just been sacked.
I'm fuming with that because I really thought I could go places with that team.
