for some reason, whenevere the game is about to simulate matches when my team isn't playing, it takes the game about 5-10 seconds to go through each game. Just imagine how long I hafta wait when the national teams play their matches - it can take minutes for the game to go through the results.

am using 8.0.1 patch. anybody else having these problems? (have a 2.2 ghz cpu with 1024 mb ram).

I've got the same problem (albeit not as serious)

The problem is the detail level the matches are being run in. Change the detail level for any competitions you're not in down to 'none' (I think that's it anyway) and it should speed the game up for you

I have a dual 2 core processor with 2GB RAM. Flies through matchdays when I'm not involved, although the internationals take 30-secs or so.

Until recently I had an Intell Pentium 4 with 1GB RAM, and international days could take 10-15mins!! :eek:

Back then I'd have been happy with 10 secs.

I have thought for a while that perhaps the 12th of a second processing structure for the match days is a bit severe. Every player on the pitch makes something like 65'000 decisions in a match (which one using a finite amount of CPU time).

Surely you could cut that by making players do things every quarter of a second instead?

i have largedatabase
england down to conference
top two leagues of spain,france,italy and germany.

the most i have to wait when games are processing is about 10secnds in total.

my problem is that I have chosen only the english premier league to be shown and all other leagues in the world to not be bothered with.

yet every time there are internationals or leage games hwen i'm not playing, each game takes a long time to play.

you must be playing very realistic game, with so many leagues included. yeah, those internationals, you can delete them in editor.
