I think certian player stats should be updated accordingly as the tourny is nearly over, the patch isnt out and some unknown players have shone accordingly.

maybe the players who dont already play for well known teams should get thier stats put up didnt a similar thing happen when sengal played well in the world cup

Players are generally rated on how well they perform at club level, as the club researcher can see how well a player performs week in week out.
It would be foolish to boost a players ability based entirley around a tournament, where the players play no more then six games.

Still doesn't change the fact that it would be stupid to boost them just because they played well over a couple of games.
