FM06 Beta - Club Kits.

Got a bunch of club kits i want to add into FM, so ive done it the usual way for FM05, disabled the cache and they appear.

Problem is Arsenal home doesnt show.
I'm guessing this has something to do with the fact Arsenal turn red after season in the game?

Is there any way i can get the kit in?

There might be a problem with the Arsenal home kit... hmmm. I'll have a look into it.

Still the same in Gold demo. Not able to fix it? No word?

Yes what is the story with this issue. I know it may not be a big priority for the programming team, but if you are an Arsenal fan (like I am) it's very high on our agenda.

As I understand it in the gold demo (which is what will be shipped) you can display Arsenal's away kit, but the home kit is not showing and there is no third kit. Is the reason there is no third kit, because you have had to take into account that this years home kit and colours are just for this year and next year they go back to the regular red & white. As the demo is time limited, what happens after the first season? Does what ever kit you have down as the home one display? Is there a way that this years home can be displayed by changing the config file? Could we rename this years home kit as 'alternative' kit? Also because of the changing kits, is this why we don't have a third kit? Arsenal always have a third kit
(it is usually always what ever was last years away kit - this year it is the away kit from last year (mid blue with touch of yellow an red)).

I know you are all busy with the release soon, but I would love to know what is going on with this issue. Especially as it was in the demo and has not been corrected for the games release. This must mean that it has got you all stumped.

BTW congrats on what is without a doubt SI best release to date and I should know, I have been buying and playing the games since CM2. Well done guys. Can't wait for the release :thup:

We're going to look into this issue to see if there is a workaround or solution to it.

The Arsenal kits should display after a season, the problem is that we've introduced kit changes for seasons, so Arsenal have their dark red one for the first season, but these over-ride custom kits.

In the database you can set kit changes for any season you like that will override the default kits that are set.

So if you want to make Arsenal's third kit in 2029 pink and green stripes then you can do that.

The problem here is that these settings override everything else (including any kit graphics assigned)
