I'm trying to edit team squad.xml
and my goal is to display player's pictures close to the name ..., but, at first sight, it sounds impossible.

My question is:
is there an id value to be inserted in a line like this:
<flags id="XXXX"/> that show the player pic in the squad list ?

I 'd love to receive an answer from somebody (possible from SI), so that I can decide if I had to loose my time for something "reachable" or am I wasting my time?

I don't think this is possible as the player pictures are linked to the id of the screen you are viewing so the id in the team screen would be for the club.

It would also look very messy having a 95x95 picture of a player on each table row as well

I would try to reduce the picture dimensions....that's not the main issue....

Is there any workaround.?
I think it would be fantastic having a short picture of the player near the name, as it happens on uefa.com

well not wanting to be abusive, but since there are some prob wiht the core programing in relation with some league issues, hat would be a great idea.

Panoz, your idea is good, but there are some problems.

Will we need to have smaller images or will the game need to create these thumbnails when going to the game? The first idea will need a new file for each player picture, the second one will require more processing time when going to the match.

More: several players don't have pictures. What would we put as image for these players? A blackened face or no image? If we decide to use a blackened face, several teams will have all players blackened. If we decide to not use images, it will become cosmeticly ugly.

It's easy to have a good idea, but people at SI needs to think about all pros and cons before really implementing an idea to the game. Your idea is good, but it would work well only if every player had his picture, and we know it's impossible.
