when i make my sigs i save them as JPEGS then upload them onto photobucket and then finally onto here, however the quality goes crap duz anyone kno wer im going wrong?

Also dus any 1 hav a tutorial for paint splatters?

save it as a png

does the quality improve if saved as a png?

Save it as a GIF, the file size goes down considerably and the quality remains the same. JPEG is shit, and PNG is also good quality but they do take up some file space.

I reccomend GIF.

jpeg for photos...photobucket may screw up the quality

gifs register only 256 colors and pngs (pings) are far too large

gifs and pngs are used more for line art
