Hello Guys,

i changed the fm colours.xml re-start the game, un-checked the skin cache and reload the skin (e2) but didn't make any changes.. don't know why.

please help!

Which one did you change - the one in the skins folder (data\skins\SKNI_NAME\settings).
Or the main FM one (in data\settings).

If you edited the main one, it won't work with skins with there own colours file, you must edit the one with the skin.

Did you save the file as an xml file (notepad sometimes likes to save them as txt files).

Have you tried restarting FM?

Did you make sure the file wasn't read only (if it was it wouldn't have saved or would have saved as a copy).

IF you reopen the fm colours file does it have your changes or the default values?

i reopen the fm colours and my changes are there, i saved again, in xml, and it's not read only..

i open FM and no changes are made..

Try deleting the contents of the data\cache folder. (The game may still be using the cache even though you turned it off).

i re-install the skin and now it works.
