Will fm 07 shins work for 08 as i find the 08 skin really hurts my eyes and head and i find it very difficult to read etc.

I've read in some earlier threads that FM07 skins does not work with FM08. I find that pretty annoying, since the new FM08 bothers the hell out of me too. Its awful and I don't understand why SI Games didn't include several skin choices like in the earlier versions.
I guess our only option is to wait.

FM 2007 skins won't work with FM 2008. It's not possible and too risky to allow as some skins will have FM 2007 specific files in them and could cause your game to crash or be missing certain features.
It wasn't possible to have more than the one skin as it took all the time and effort to create the one that came with the game.

come on guys, can someone whip something.. ANYTHING up for FM08 because the default skin is abysmal, i think the Q&A testers must have been blind to let this ship with such a disgusting UI!!

Yeah, a new skin would be nice. I cant play it for long without getting 'red-vein eye' and a headache to boot.

why choose that one?
I bet 90% of gamers are going to use another....probably the first one that comes available will be used.
sorry SI - considering how much respect you guys give towards these forums and some of the great skin creators of the past, why weren't a few options showcased beforehand.

I am waiting for some add-on skins to be released before I continue playing FM2008. I just can't stand the default one.

I don't know how you guys manage to use Word, Excel or iTunes then. The skin isn't even white ffs, or disgusting.

it is ugly and fuzzy, but then again i dont expect si to spend ages on a skin do the features and a basic skin and let the community get skining,,,,so come on lads and gals get skinning.... i would of course do some apart from the fact i have no idea what to do  | |
