Well here it is, the "Ultimate European Super League - FM06"

Ultimate European Super League

Make sure you have WinRar (or other program which can unzip RAR files):-

WinRar Download Site

Each club will follow it’s nations transfer regulations, e.g. British clubs such as Arsenal or Celtic will require work permits where as a club such as Real Madrid will not.
• Player values are accurate.
• Clubs behave more realistically e.g. more chance of hiring a manager of their nationality.

Setting up – IMPORTANT

To set up the league, you must select the OCEANIA from the continents selection. Then choose European Leagues. You must have all the leagues inside this nation running!

You may run other leagues as well as this one BUT, it must NOT be from EUROPE.

Very interesting concept. It looks like you have done a lot of work here, well done.

For the uninitiated/slow contingent (myself at the head of the class), exactly what files do i need to back up? I see the db file in the SI/data folder. What is the INC file? Also is it possible to substitute one club for another? I would very much like to include Porto in this league.

Again, excellent idea.

Thanks

okay, I must have forgot to include that lol.

First of all, go to your football manager db folder, (default = CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\db)

Simply back the entire contents up somewhere (zip it up would be best)

and simply extract all these files into this folder.

And its the INC folder (replace I with L )

using a team swap, you can swap one club from one nation into the league as long as the club you are swapping from is of the same nation.

So..

e.g. If you want Porto in then if you can, open up the editor and give them a U-19 team, an extra 20M (first year TV/entrance money) and sugar daddy (acts as TV reveunue).

Then to swap teams around, do not use the swap function inside the editor.

Use an edt file, If you dont know how to create one then it is a simple team swap (REMEMBER, swap one team for another of the same country ONLY)

e.g.

#swap teams - Benfica with Porto
"SWAP_TEAMS" "1487" "1478"

then save it as something like porto.edt in your main db folder (where you installed the files)

Hello Steven,

Quite interesting that you procceed with the troubles!

Is everything ok with the 'new year bug' ?

Had you tested enough?

I mean should i start organizing a net game with those?

QUESTIONS
1.Is there any chance I could swap teams of different nations?I want to add a couple of Greek teams in last division so that we can organize a network game with some Greek fellows.
It is important!
2.I suppose that we will not have any problems
by adding some custom media or awards in the
leagues. What is your experience on that?

Thanks

to swap teams around from different nations is simple.

Using the editor, make sure that the league that they are coming from has no nation (unlick their nation tab... greece prem already done)

then goto the euro league you want the new team in, simply untick that leagues nation (european leagues). (so that the teams retain nationality, if the league was european leagues then the clubs would become a team with this nation)

Then swap the teams over using the editor, then put the european teams nation back on to that league.

Have I tested enough, yep, left it running for 3 years on holiday, everything seemed fine.

To go 3 years means the new year bug is fixed (dont know what caused it, because I started the entire thing by scratch, took a couple of hours because I knew what I was doing though).

Awards already there, but you can take some others and assign them to this league as long the "award to" thing is NOT "anyone based domestically". It MUST be "Anyone".

Custom media should be fine, thats something I will add for V2 when I come round to doing it in the future.
