I am not interested in whether it is free or whether the person has time, all I know was that a date was given for its release (and a time) and it hasn't been met. Worse still, the author has chosen not to respond (theres a lot of childishness on this forum).

Pretty Amateur. Anyway its probably a bit pointless now anyway, since theres a perfectly good editor available now.

Dont bother flaming me about this post, I couldn't care less. My point is if you say something is going to happen, it should. If you cant make it, you should tell people why. If everything in this world revolved around fake promises nothing would get done.

It probably would have been better to say nothing. Where previously Dan might have got sympathy, now I feel it is deserved and has only demonstrated what type of person the author is.

get a grip. the person is doing it in their free time for free for the benefit of others. as far as i was aware they said it would be done when its done not a specific date and time.

It probably wouldn't be missed now. He should just say, 'cant be arsed, no editor this year'. and our response would be, 'Oh Okay thanks - see ya.

As long as this release date hasn´t been provided by anyone involved in making MCFM it´s rather worthless isn´t it. AFAIK someone heard a rumour blablabla and decided to post it.

The only ego and childishness concerning this matter comes from people who can´t seem to live without MCFM. Try managing a team without it....

I agree Pelle. This was not a rumour and it came from an entry by the author. Otherwise as you quite correctly point out, "its rather worthless"

Maybe you could learn how to make a save game editor for future fm's so we do not have to go through the turmoil of waiting till it's released. While your at it you can learn how to make FM scout to.

The world would be totally brilliant if you could and then we could have them out on release day!!
