I should point out that we did not make the claims of the release date and it was in actual fact somebody else who made them as a joke.

Clearly some people don't get the whole humour thing and it was completely lost on them.

Shame.

So to sum up. We have never set a release date for MCFM06 and nor do we intend to. I can't be blamed if you don't check who posts these clearly erroneous release dates.

For future reference. There would only be two people discussing release dates for MCFM06 on this forum.

for my own reference you never release any information about MCFM, therefore we to obtain these spurious release dates

The first part of that makes sense but I'm not sure what the second part is about.

Ok... We never release any information. This is deliberate for the very reason that this thread exists. How about I say to somebody on MSN that we'll be adding the player name editing this year (highly unlikely). He tells his mates who then tell more mates, and before you know it, there are loads of posts about MCFM06 features like:

People on this forum have a habit of taking things a little too literally.

So when I don't say anything about the matter, don't take it personally or as me being 'amateurish'. I just think that its pointless to try and cover all the basis and explain every little thing.

Kinda the reason why I refused to post in the last thread about the release date, only to find out that another plonker fell for the same joke.

And now, I'm ****ed at myself for posting in this thread...

Now, please... Stop making these threads about MCFM. When the time comes, an official one will be created.

I take back everything with an apology. The date may have been in jest, but I do remember that the link above was NOT the place i saw it last. Did you mention the (jested) date at all on another thread? I am pretty sure it was your post. Tell you what, forget it... apologies, lets move on...
